About us: urban mining

At LJG Electronics Recycling we believe sustainability is important, and we also take our responsibility here. In today's society, articles often only have a short lifespan, after which they are thrown away. This often contains many useful raw materials. Urban mining means that we disassemble existing articles in order to collect and reuse the raw materials in them. We focus on electronics and metals. With this work we ensure a considerable relief of the earth and an enormous saving of energy and raw materials.

We call the sorting out of these electronics and metals from existing sources urban mining. The separation is done down to the smallest fractions. This way, as many important substances as possible are retained for reuse.

Sustainability and development

At LJG Electronics Recycling, we take our responsibility for reducing our impact on the environment. Our own business processes are optimized to that end as well. LJG Electronics Recycling makes various investments in developing countries in which our sister company operates, contributing to employment, educational facilities, health care, social housing, and drinking water facilities.

Our name LJG is short for 'Lord Jesus Gift'. We wish to make an important contribution to reducing the impact on the environment, ensuring that our environment is healthy enough to protect the quality of life for present and future generations.
